MARTINE

Many of us haven't had the chance to meet Martine(Maya in my language). She's a little girl who goes through many adventures and each one of them contains some nice messages for children.Drawings are amazing, and I think it's the best thing about these books, which could impress even adults.Picture books about Martine are very old.The first one(Martine a la ferme) came up in 1954.All of them were made by Belgians Gilbert Delahaye(writing the picture books) and Marcel Marlier(drawing them),so the original books are in French. My fav cycle about Martine is the one with the following books: Martine fait ses courses Martine au zoo Martine et les 4 saisons Martine a la montagne Martine a la mer Martine en bateau Martine en avion Martine au parc Martine en voyage Martine au cirque Martine monte a cheval ...... and ofc Martine a la maison, which means Martine in house,or,translated to my language Martine a little housewife(my favorite one). All in all,I think we should all know about Martine and her books, because they've really become classics for all times(and that's why I chose Beethoven's composition "Fur Elise"). ^^ ♥♥♥
